O programa de 24 de Junho foi dedicado a alguns trabalhos que se destacam pela sua heterodoxia. Boris são um projecto japonês oriundo do stoner doom, mas bastante ecléctico. Os Sunn 0))) são obviamente o nome de referência da vanguarda do drone metal. Khlyst é o projecto de James Plotkin, um virtuoso da guitarra que não hesita em experimentar com a electrónica, e a norueguesa Runhild Gammelsaeter. Khanate foi o grupo que incluía o mesmo James Plotkin e o duo de Sunn 0))) Stephen o Malley e Greg Anderson (ver programa dedicado ao Doom). Vrolok vem dos Estados Unidos e experimenta entre o Black Metal, o noise e o ambiental. Lugubrum é um grupo de Black Metal belga que inclui um saxofone (poderão eles ser acusados de nacionalismo ou de tendências folk?)! Urna é funeral Doom com vocação sinfónica, vindo da Itália. Da fria Suécia, a obscuridade e a fúria exprimem-se sofisticadamente em Bergraven. Sortsind são da Dinamarca e fazem um Black Metal invulgar e agonizante, mas cheio de recursos. Mord é um conjunto de maus espíritos da América do Norte, com um som denso e torrencial (Malefic de Xasthur é o baixista). A propósito de Xasthur ver programa dedicado ao BM californiano. Kraft é um projecto português que não pode negar a influência xasthuriana, mas com uma agrura orgulhosamente lusitana. Deathspell Omega é a terceira geração do black metal (misto de vanguarda e agressividade primordial) e vêm de França.
